The Middle East Workboats Conference will address the key issues influencing the workboat industry in the region. The three-day programme will cover three distinct sectors - Commercial, Safety and Operations. Each session will feature international speakers exploring a range of related subjects. Time will be allocated to questions and floor discussion. To ensure a lively debate delegates will be able to put their questions to speakers before the event. After you book your place you can send your questions to Tania Knierim and we will do our best to have them answered on the day.
The first day will look into the business opportunities in the region created by the multi-billion dollar projects in the oil and gas industry and the unprecedented scale of offshore developments, port and land reclamation schemes.
On the second day the speakers will discuss the industry safety record and propose management systems to improve the safety culture on board and ashore.
Novel design concepts to improve sea-keeping capabilities in the sector will be explored on the third day alongside other operational topics. Delegates will also hear about the training standards in place and the recruitment methods they can use to ensure their staff have the right skills.
Who should attend?
Ship Owners, Managers, Superintendents, Port Operators, Marine Auditors, Agents and Commercial Personnel from all sectors of the workboat industry will all benefit from attendance and discussion with the speakers and colleagues. Additional networking opportunities are also available to delegates at the Middle East Workboats Exhibition which you can attend FREE of charge all three days with your delegate badge.
