Cygnus Instruments were the original pioneers of the Multiple Echo Digital Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge in the early 1980s, for material thickness measurements without removing protective coatings. In addition to being able to read through protective coatings, the Multiple Echo Technique ensures accurate error checked measurements and is approved by ALL major classification societies. Today we offer a range of instruments to cover a wide range of applications including underwater, intrinsically safe, data logging and standard models.The range will be on display includes our new Cygnus 2 Hands Free and Cygnus 4 General Purpose both launched earlier this year.
