IMCA, the international trade association for offshore marine and underwater engineering companies, has more than 430 members in over 50 countries. IMCA represents members' interests by promoting communication on safety, efficiency and prosperity in marine contracting. We publish guidance, information notes, and safety flashes; run regional members' meetings, seminars and social events; and provide a forum for communication with clients, authorities and governments. Technically, we cover: offshore diving, marine operations including dynamic positioning, offshore survey and ROV operations. Personnel issues include safety, training, and competence. On the commercial side, we publish some standard contracts and contracting principles.
