A maritime engineering and design consultancy specialising in complicated and often ‘one off’ conversions of sophisticated high density offshore construction vessels. MAATS provide a prospective owner/existing owner-operator with the total capability to manage concept and feasibility through specification and design, tender evaluation, shipyard superintendency, trials and commissioning. In-house new building designs include shallow water tugs and barges, heavy construction vessels and dynamically positioned shuttle tankers for harsh environments. Design and build contracts for specialised offshore flexible pipelaying equipment is also undertaken.
