Biography
1987: Bjørge Steinco
After ended studies, I joined the development team for the first computer based propulsion control system for Wärtsilä Propulsion. During my first period as engineer I worked as software programmer, hardware designer, project manager, and service engineer for the products delivered to Wärtsilä and others.
1994: Wärtsilä Propulsion Senior Service Engineer
I joined the Wärtsilä Propulsion service team, first as field service coordinator, then technical service. Special skills at 32GD, Electronic Engine Control and Automation.
1997: Wärtsilä Propulsion, Manager Propulsion Control Department
During four years we built a strong Propulsion Control department while developing the today used generation of Propulsion Control Systems.
Was the Manager during the period of entering the John Crain Lips Company after the agreement with Wärtsilä in 2000.
2001: Bjørge Steinco, Operational Manager
Established and developed a new Department for Bjørge Steinco in Bergen Norway, creating new business for the company towards the Norwegian offshore industry.
2006. Wärtsilä Automation, Manager Vessel Automation
Established and developed the Vessel Automation department before joining the business sales team as Business Sales Manager in 2008.
The further plan is to establish as Business Sales Manager with special focus on Electrical Propulsion and Automation in the Middle East within 2008.
